Experiments with financial support from LingLab

Experiments will only be financially supported by LingLab within a limited annual budget available. As there are no application deadlines, we advise you to apply for support as early as possible. Funding can be granted – fully or partially – depending on formal and substantive criteria of your application and the available budget.

If an experiment is decided to be supported/funded, the exact accounting modalities must be discussed by LingLab.

Applying for an experiment without funding by LingLab:

• A short advertising description of the experiment (information for participants) in any language (1000 characters max). Make it clear which languages the test subjects should speak and how many test subjects you need along with other information about the experiment.
• A detailed scientific description of the experiment (in English) – fundamental for LingLab approval. This description serves to illustrate the methods used as well as to stress its scientific significance.
• Please be sure to comply with our formal application guidelines!
• The item number displayed on the ethics committee’s letter of approval

LingLab may ask you for additional documents.
